Jeri Consulting partnered with MESPT to develop the English and Kiswahili versions of a cashew nut production handbook for farmers across Kenya.

THE PROCESS
- Structural editing of English version.
- Copy editing of English version.
- English-to-Kiswahili translation.
- Editing of Kiswahili version.
- Design and layout of both versions of the handbook.
- Proofreading of both versions of the handbook.
- Pilot testing the Kiswahili version in Kwale County, Kenya—one of the key target readers of the Kiswahili version(s).
- Intergrating feedback from the pilot test.
- Printing of a mock-up copy for Client to approve.
- Delivery of artworks of both versions of the handbook.
THE RESULT
The English and Kiswahili versions of the visually-stimulating, easy-to-read farmers’ handbook on cashew nut production, namely:

- Ukujazi Bora Wa Mkorosho: Mwongozo wa Wakulima Nchini Kenya
