Tom meticulously combs through the developed copy to ensure the tone and style is apt, the details are accurate and the writing is articulate and grammatically correct.
A poet, writer, marathoner, Madridista and seasoned editor, Tom is the co-author of the short story anthology Nairobi Grit. He is also the 2014 winner of the continental Babishai Niwe Poetry Prize and the current features editor at one of Kenya’s leading dailies, the Star.
Tom has over 10 years of experience in editing. He is accredited by the Media Council of Kenya and is a member of the Kenya Editors’ Guild.
When he is not propped up in front of a keyboard dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s for Jeri Consulting and/or the Star, Tom can usually be found at an arts event, travelling or catching a Real Madrid match.
